| The department of Mathematics was started with the UG programme in the year 2008. This course aims at preparing the students to cope with the latest developments. It provides a good theoretical and practical foundation through high quality teaching. It plans good earnest to start offering Mathematics at P.G level in the near future. |

Seminars are conducted in every semester on the latest title like “Discrete Mathematics”, “Statistical methods and Advancement in applied Mathematics”. |

Aptitude Tests are conducted for all the students of the Department to equip them with brisk and sharp minded nature for acquiring mental sharpness. |

Special care and coaching are given to develop puzzle solving competence among the students. |

Quiz contests testing the short-cut methods in Mathematics are conducted at regular intervals in order to provide different knowledge acquisition content for the learners. |

The department motivates and encourages the students to take part in Mathematics oriented competitions, seminars, conference etc... In other colleges. |
